Modena Balsamic Vinegar has been around since the Middle Ages in Italy. It wasn’t until the early 1980’s that Americans started to notice that the dense, dark liquid could enhance so many foods. Modena, Italy is the home of the Trebbiano grapes, reputed to be the best grapes from which to make balsamic vinegar. The slow, traditional method of preparation creates an intense flavored vinegar.

Serving Suggestions:

  • Use as is, or combine with our Bella Sol California Extra Virgin Olive Oil, for a simple dressing.
  • Reduce over heat with sautéed shallots for a fine meat sauce.
  • Drizzle lightly over farm-fresh berries.
