Italian Blend pasta with spicy Italian sausage, fresh vegetables, and creamy parmesan sauce. Delicious!

8 oz. Pappardelle's Italian Pesto Pasta Blend
8 oz. hot Italian sausage
8 oz. broccoli florets
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 c. olive oil
1/2 red sweet pepper, diced
1/2 onion, diced
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tomato, seeded and chopped into large chunks
1 c. half & half
1 c. grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Salt & Pepper, to taste
1. Bring a pot of salted, boiling water to boil and cook Italian Pesto Pasta Blend until al dente.
2. Meanwhile, fry hot Italian sausage (casings removed if not bulk) in a skillet, breaking into chunks. Remove and drain.
3. In same skillet, melt butter and olive oil over medium heat. Saute onion and garlic and stir. Add red pepper and broccoli florets. Stir and saute for 3 minutes. Add tomato and stir.
4. Add cooked pasta, sausage, half & half, parmesan, and cayenne pepper. Stir in parsley and cook over medium heat until thick.
